Mrs. Rachel ?Betty Jean? Wood Vandygriff, 72, died Friday, May 17, 2002 at her residence in the Enterprise Community.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vandygriff will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with C.V. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends from 4:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.
She was a native of Maury County, the daughter of the late Jim and Bessie Workman Wood. She was the wife of the late James Odis Vandygriff who preceded her in death on July 11, 1986. She was a homemaker and a member of the church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Vivian Todd and Rita John Benderman, both of Mt. Pleasant and Helen Darl Bolin of Cross Bridges; one sister, Lucy Frizzel of Michigan; one brother, Willie Mary Helen Wood of Michigan; three granddaughters, Diana Chris Rooker, Kim Foster and Rebecca Todd, all of Mt. Pleasant; 4 great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Caleb Rooker and Patrick and Katilyn Pierce; several nieces and nephews.
Nephews and sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
