Ramona Kaye Debartolomies

Ramona Debartolomies, age 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Born to Everett and Jessie Sewell, Ramona lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and a cherished partner. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Franklin Sewell.

Ramona is survived by her three sons: John Debartolomies (Kristen), Jesse Debartolomies (Samantha), and Randle Dugger (Melinda); and her beloved grandchildren: John W, Evelyn, Isaiah, Serenity, Jasmine, Wraith and Reagen Dugger, Braden Coker. She also leaves behind her dear partner, Bill Spurgeon, who was by her side in life and in love.

A woman of deep Christian faith, Ramona believed in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her selflessness was evident to all who knew her—she consistently put others’ needs before her own and showed genuine concern for friends and family alike. Her heart was especially tender toward her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and joyfully welcomed into her well-kept home.

Ramona found joy and peace in her creative pursuits, especially painting portraits of animals, where her gentle spirit and eye for beauty came to life on canvas.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Sonset Fellowship Church, 309 N Columbia Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
