Richard R
Moreshead
March 31, 1943 – April 17, 2026
Richard R. Moreshead, lovingly known as “Bee,” passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, at the age of 83.
Born on March 31, 1943, in Boston, Massachusetts, Richard was the cherished son of Ralph and Sophie Moreshead. From an early age, he carried with him a strong sense of determination and a deep appreciation for life, qualities that would define him for decades to come.
Richard was a man of many passions and simple joys. He could often be found on the golf course, enjoying the game as much for the camaraderie as the competition. He had a keen eye for treasures at flea markets and a lifelong fascination with watches and clocks, appreciating both their craftsmanship and the stories they carried. A true “foodie” before the term became popular, Richard loved discovering new restaurants and returning to old favorites, always eager to share a good meal with family and friends.
He also took great pride in his routines, none more so than his love for cars. Whether it was leasing a new one or making sure it was freshly washed each day, these small rituals brought him genuine happiness and reflected his attention to detail.
Above all, Richard was a devoted family man. He was a tireless worker, a provider, and someone who consistently put the needs of others ahead of his own. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he took immense pride in watching them grow and thrive. He offered steady support, wisdom, and humor, creating a legacy of love that will continue for generations.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Laura (James) Williamson; his grandchildren, Sean Michael Williamson, Brian Patrick Williamson, Emily (Bryan) Williams, and Shannon Rose (Samuel) Butler; and his adored great-grandchildren, Evelyn Noelle Williams, Charlotte Eleanora Williams, and Matthew Joseph Butler.
He is preceded by both of his parents: Ralph and Sophie Moreshead.
Richard will be remembered for his generous heart, his strong work ethic, his love of good food and good company, and the way he made everyday moments feel special. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the memories he created and the family he loved so dearly.
