Richard Orsburn

Richard Orsburn, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Hermitage, Tennessee, on June 14, 2024. Born on July 7, 1946, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Ralph and Elizabeth Orsburn, Richard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother. 

He graduated from Akron University in 1970 and enjoyed a fulfilling career at US Airways before his retirement.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Claudia Orsburn; his children, Bethann Orsburn-Beers & husband Mike, Amy Orsburn-Thomas & husband Darnell, and Amanda Schlesinger & husband Tony; his cherished grandchildren, Whitley Beers & husband Eric Berry, Jordan Thomas, Brandon Thomas, and Maddox Schlesinger; and brother Gary Orsburn & wife Debbie. 

The family will hold a private celebration of Richard’s life on July 7. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Cancer Society in his memory.
