Mr. Ricky Lynn Cates, 42 , a resident of Brown Hollow Rd. in Columbia, died Friday at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Cates will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Bob Adair and Reverend Rudy Thrasher officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Nebo Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late James ?Sonny? and Janie Marie Roberts Cates. He was a truck driver for Saunders Trucking Company and Victory Van Lines. Mr. Cates attended the Highland Park Baptist church.
He is survived by three brothers, David Kathy Cates, Jerry Wayne Cates and Donald Eugene Cates all of Columbia, TN; one sister Linda Gail Holder of Mt. Pleasant, TN; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Cates, Chad Cates, Kenneth Holder, Jimmy Graham, Michael Cates and Junior Cates.
