Shelly Lambert, age 56, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Columbia, Tennessee. She was born on December 29, 1969, to the late Gloria Jean Fischer.

Shelly had a warm heart and a deep appreciation for the things that brought her happiness. She especially loved the beach and enjoyed any opportunity to spend time near the water. In her younger years, Shelly was an avid soccer player and spent many years playing the sport.

Shelly took great pride in her work with Easterseals, where she especially loved being part of the recruiting department. Her work was important to her, and she truly enjoyed the people and purpose she found there.

Some of Shelly’s greatest companions were her beloved huskies, Shasta and Sadie. Her love for the breed extended far beyond her own dogs, and she generously supported husky rescue organizations, helping other dogs find the loving homes they deserved.

Shelly is survived by her partner, Keith Moore; cousins, Bob Prichard and Chad Prichard; and others who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Jean Prichard. Shelly is now reunited with her mother, a comforting reunion after their time apart.

Shelly will be remembered for the things she loved, the work she found meaningful, her compassion for animals, and the memories she leaves with those closest to her.
