Obituary

Stanley Saylor, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on June 29, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Beverly, Kentucky, Stanley was the beloved son of Claudie Saylor and Helen Hubbard Saylor. He was one of ten children and graduated from Cawood High School. Throughout his life, Stanley was known as a hardworking and dedicated man. He built a lifelong career as a truck driver, providing for his family through years of honest work, commitment, and perseverance.

Above all else, Stanley treasured his family. His love, strength, and unwavering presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family will forever cherish the memories they shared and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife, Laura Gayle Bishop Saylor; his children, Jarrett (Jessica) Saylor, Nicole (Jason) Burkhart, Heather (David) Brady, and William Osborne; his grandchildren, Madison, Travis, Landon, Ciara, Lilly, Tyler, Thomas, Tyler, Sydney, and Weslee; his great-grandchildren, James, Oaklee, and Jackson; five sisters; four brothers; and many extended family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudie Saylor and Helen Hubbard Saylor.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
