Susan O'Malley, age 53, passed away on September 2, 2026, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, following a courageous three-year battle with breast cancer.
Susan was born on April 22, 1973, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to Edward and Lois O'Malley.
Susan was an honest and sweet soul who found happiness in the simple things in life. She especially enjoyed relaxing at home in front of the television, appreciating the quiet and comfortable moments that brought her peace. Her gentle spirit and sincere nature were evident to those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A devoted Christian, Susan's faith was an important part of her life and remained a source of strength throughout her journey.
Susan dedicated much of her professional life to helping others as a therapist, working with both teenagers and adults. Over the years, she served at Cornerstone and Rolling Hills, where she used her compassionate heart and listening ear to support people through some of life's most difficult moments. Her career reflected the kindness and care she so naturally showed to others.
For three years, Susan faced breast cancer with courage and perseverance. Through the challenges she encountered, she continued to hold tightly to her faith and the quiet strength that defined her.
Susan will be remembered for her honesty, her sweetness, her devotion to her faith, and the many lives she touched both personally and throughout her career. Her gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Susan is survived by her half brothers: Charles Styles of Wisconsin, Jack Styles of Ohio, and Joseph Styles of Ohio; sister: Tricia Amonette Bonee; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Susan is reunited with her parents: Edward and Lois O'Malley.
The family will have a celebration of life on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Graymere Church of Christ with Pastor Chad Landman officiating a service at 2:00 PM. A private burial will follow.
