Mr. Terry Wayne Morton, 32, a resident of Park Plus Court, died Sunday, May 5, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Funeral services for Mr. Morton will be conducted Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of Frankie Wayne Dawn Morton and Bobbie Jean Clark Morton of Columbia. He was the husband of Patricia Ann McKennon Morton of Columbia. He was a carpenter for Bob Page Construction Company in Columbia and former employee of Franklin Kitchen Center. He was a member of the Ebeneezer Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Terry Keith Morton of Columbia; 2 sisters, Angela Kay Tony Buttrum of Columbia and Jennifer Sealy of Culleoka; 4 brothers, Phillip Michelle Morton of Columbia, Greg Morton of Santa Fe, Scotty Nikki Morton of Columbia, and Brent Morton of Lewisburg; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Margie Marie Clark of Columbia; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Clark, Timmy Morton, Brian Hedrick, Scottie Morton, Terry Deason, and Brandon Bows. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Morton, Steve Morton, Steve Powell, and Mark Morton.
