Born on July 22, 1926, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Thelton was the son of the late Marion Luther Hill and Ruth Hill. Throughout his long life, he was known as a kind, gentle, and loving man whose unwavering faith guided him in all that he did. He was an upstanding member of his community, deeply respected and well loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
