Thomas Kidd

Thomas Kidd, age 65, passed away on June 14, 2025. Born in Barbourville, Kentucky, he was the beloved son of Paul Kidd and Katherine Barger Kidd, from whom he learned the values that shaped his quiet life.

Thomas was a man of few pretenses. He spoke plainly but always with kindness, offering truth and warmth in equal measure. His quirky sense of humor brought laughter to those lucky enough to know him, often catching people off guard with his unique wit.

A true animal lover, Thomas shared a deep bond with his cats and dog, treating them as part of his family. He also found great joy in tending to his flowers, caring for them with the same gentle devotion he gave to those he loved.

Thomas was a family man at heart. Though he preferred the comforts of home and lived a quiet, more reserved life, his presence was steady, and his love for his family constant. He lived simply and sincerely, content with the life he cultivated. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Thomas is survived by his brother Bobb (Vivian) Kidd; sister: Patti (Randy) Daniel; nieces and nephews; special friends: Tamara Minor, Michael Minor and Sarah Carter.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 12, 2025, from 2:30 to 5:30 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Community Center, 501 Gray Ln, Mt. Pleasant, TN.
