Thomas A. Runions, age 77, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, in Hampshire, Tennessee.
Thomas was born on March 22, 1945, to the late Buford and Genie Runions in Hampshire, Tennessee.
Since Thomas was a young boy, he lived and breathed the Farm. He resided on Blocker Farm for over 50 years. He was a true outdoorsman, whether he was hunting for his next game, fishing, tending to his flowers, or his farm, Thomas found his peace outside.
Thomas was a lifelong member of Southpoint Church of Christ. He truly loved the Lord and his church family. He was a kind and caring man, always finding the good in people. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Thomas loved his blessed life and will be deeply missed by all the lives he’s touched.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Pamela Marie Runions, with whom they shared 44 beautiful years together; children: Adam (Lauren) Runions, Shelia Chatman Williams, and Hank Chatman; grandkids: Shane Chatman, Josh (Chelsea) Williams, Amber (Ethan) Henson, and Makenzie Runions; great-grandkids: Logan Williams, Kayzlee Williams, and Kenny Henson; and siblings: Loese Escue and Bobby (Diane) Runions; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with one hour of visitation prior. Bro. Randy Baxter will be officiating the service. To follow, Thomas will be laid to rest in Morrow Cemetery in Hampshire, Tennessee.
Pallbearers are Josh Williams, Ethan Henson, Terry Chandler, Alvin Morrow, Paul Corvin, and Alvin Blocker. Honorary pallbearers are the Southpoint Church of Christ.
