Van Frank Cates

Frank Cates, 68, of Hohenwald, passed away on April 12, 2024, at his home. Born on September 5, 1955, to the late Ollie and Estella Cates, Frank was a beloved husband, brother, and friend. He was married to his loving wife, Doris Cates, and together they shared many cherished moments.

Frank found joy in simple pleasures, particularly in the serenity of fishing. He spent many peaceful days by the water, casting his line and enjoying the beauty of nature. Before his retirement, Frank worked as a dedicated truck driver, where he forged many lasting connections with colleagues and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Doris Cates, and his siblings: James Cates, Dorothy Carroll, Elise Stills, Amy "Betsy" Runions, Katie Cates, and Francis Mae Runions (Larry). Frank also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
