Wayne Thomason

Harry Wayne Thomason, age 82, passed away unexpectantly Sunday, May 28, 2023, at his residence in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Harry was born February 22, 1941, in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, to the late Charlie Thomason and Willadean Thomason.

Wayne always had a loving and caring heart especially for his family and for his church family. He loved gospel music. His hobbies were fishing and watching the Atlanta Braves baseball games.

Wayne is survived by his sister: Eloise (Larry) Hicks; his fiancé: Debbie Underwood and her family; daughter: Sharon (Donny) Mendenhall, LaDonna (Jeff) Hardin; son: Dennis Thomason; 8 grandkids; and 14 great-grandkids.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

A service for Wayne will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee with Rev. Johnny Higgason. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to the start of the service at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Wayne will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.

The family wants to extend a special thanks to his fiancé Debbie Underwood and her family.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Hardin, Rhys Hardin, Chris Crowe, Rodney Hill, Matthew Hill, and Rez Jones.
