Willa Dean Stinson, 89, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on September 14, 2025, at Williamson Medical Center. She was born on October 17, 1935, to the late Dan Howard Ray and Milissie Jane Wilson Ray.

A lifelong member of Collegevue Church of Christ, Willa Dean lived a life marked by faith, kindness, and service to others. She had a special love for crafting and sewing, especially making quilts and blankets that brought warmth and comfort to many. She enjoyed sending cards, preparing casseroles, and lending a helping hand whenever she could. Willa Dean also found joy in watching classic television shows such as Gunsmoke.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her giving heart, and the many ways she cared for family, friends, and her church community.

Willa Dean is survived by her son, Daniel Boyd Stinson; grandchildren, Jay (Allison) Davidson, Milissia Davidson, Andrew (Angela) Davidson, and Mary Davidson; her brother, Wilburn Ray; and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilson Boyd Stinson; her parents, Dan Howard Ray and Milissie Jane Wilson Ray; her daughter, Sherry Stinson Davidson; and siblings, Dan Houston Ray and Betty Tilghman.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Polk Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Collegevue Church of Christ.
