“In February of this year I had the difficult task of planning my mom's funeral. She lived a full and long life and was a committed follower of Jesus, so my grief was filled with that hope that faith provides. Still I had to do all the pragmatics of planning her service. I had experienced working with Williams Funeral Home staff in many different ways in the past and chose them to help me provide for mom's visitation, service and burial. They were the best I could have hoped for. From the care of those who came to transport her body until we placed her coffin in the grave, each touch was just what we needed it to be. They were professional, yet compassionate. And their care for us continues even though we are now months from the actual "funeral" experience. Thanks Williams Funeral Home Family for your loving and professionally qualified care for my mom and all of her family and friends.”Bob Vassar July 03, 2019

“To The Williams Family Staff on 12/22/17 For the funeral of John Spencer: Thank you for a beautiful memorial & viewing of John Spencer. Everyone on the staff this day was so helpful and professional & awesome. Thank you for all you did for my family including the behind the scenes of taking care of people who were incapable of taking care of themselves. I appreciate your kindness and understanding. The staff did a great job of making a difficult situation into a very beautiful service overall. Thank you, Cindy Spencer Wife of John Spencer”Cindy Spencer January 09, 2018
“On September 26, 2016 our world was shattered. We went in for an ultrasound with a specialist for a common problem with pregnancy. We found out that our son’s heart was failing. Since he was only 22 weeks, he was too young to deliver immediately and save. He was born sleeping on September 28, 2016 in the early morning hours. When we found out we needed to pick a funeral home to take care of our son’s earthly body, we immediately chose our friends at Williams Funeral Home. That Friday we went in and met with Lauren. She was absolutely wonderful in helping us make the right decisions for our son and for us. She made everything very simple and as painless as it could be in our situation. We decided to have our son cremated and would need to come back to pick up his remains. We met with Kerry the day we picked up our son. He was such a ray of sunshine in our dark time. He gave us so much peace and comfort in our time of need. The entire Williams Funeral Home staff that we saw in passing were absolutely what we needed in our darkest days after losing our son. ”Kadi Fitzgerald November 01, 2016

“Alan, Lauren & Eric I usually don't have any problem writing a letter like this. In this case it's different. Thank you just doesn't seem like enough. How does one thank a team who handles one of the most difficult events of life; death. The passing of my mother-in-law Sara Puckett was so painful, but the way the entire Williams family handled it was cause for celebration! From the brief time Sara had to accept and prepare for what was to come to the moment we said goodbye at Polk Memorial Gardens your team, our team, made the entire process bearable. Whether it was Alan and Eric being there to witness Sara's last wishes in her will. To Lauren taking my call late in the evening to swinging into action. The Williams family executed it with reverence, grace, professionalism, and even humor. Alan thank you for even letting me cry on your shoulder. As other families travel down the same inevitable road I am at peace knowing the Williams family is here. With Deepest Gratitude I remain, Stewart Parker”Stewart Parker February 03, 2016
“To the Staff: My name is David T. Bass. I am a younger brother of the late Edward Wayne Bass for whom you provided services after his passing on July 30, 2015. I just wanted to take a moment to commend the staff of Williams Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism in handling all of the arrangements for my brother's funeral service. The preparation of the body was exceptional. Wayne looked really nice. I would like to send a special "shout out" to Jerry Strahan and John Blevins for going above and beyond to insure that all of the necessary steps were taken to ease the suffering and grieving of Wayne's wife Linda. Although nothing can totally relieve the mourning process, Jerry was able to relieve some of the tension by being there to provide anything that Linda needed. He could not have been more accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I also enjoyed talking with Jack Bailey, who provided some much needed humor during this difficult period. I realize that, in this profession, there are many things that can go awry. However, the staff of Williams Funeral Home was able, through their caring, understanding and attentiveness, to provide a seamless flow of events and provided much needed comfort to the family of the decedent. I would like to, once again, thank the staff of Williams Funeral Home and Crematory for providing exceptional caring, kindness and professionalism during this sad and difficult experience. With Utmost respect and sincerity, David T. Bass”David T. Bass January 11, 2016
“Dear Friends at Williams Funeral Home, We want you all to know we are so thankful for you all. You helped make a very difficult time easier. Thank you to Jerry for adding the special touches that made the service about our very special and wonderful dad that loved watching his Atlanta Braves. Bill, Lona, Kerry, Duby and of course Alan and Jerry were so caring. There were others that were working behind the scenes that were also great. You should be so proud of your staff and your beautiful facility. We were so happy and pleased with the tribute to our hero; our father Clarence Webb. Thank you so much, Cynthia (Cindy) Lynn & Greg”Cindy Collins, Lynn Pickard and Greg Webb July 09, 2013
“"They helped me celebrate a life." "I will never forget the kindness bestowed upon me and my family when I lost my beautiful 18 year old daughter Ashley. Williams Funeral Home took wonderful care of every detail. They were professional yet at the same time very sensitive and caring. They accommodated every wish and desire as if she were their own child. I felt a sense of comfort in knowing that my baby was in their hands. The video tribute displayed many cherished memories and was very touching. With the assistance of Williams Funeral Home, I was able to have the last thing that I did for Ashley to be a special celebration of life." ”Kim Brooks Woody August 14, 2010
“"The staff was kind and compassionate." "Our loved one, Billy Felker, often worked with the Williams Funeral Home in funerals, since he served as a minister for many years. So we already knew that Williams Funeral Home would be a good choice to provide funeral services. But when he passed away, we experienced firsthand the kindness of the staff. We will never forget their compassionate help and support during the difficult time. Our whole family was well pleased with every aspect of their service." ”Mr. & Mrs. Felker May 11, 2011
“"As a Certified Public Accountant, my husband Ronnie Curtis, knew the importance of making one's life decisions in a timely manner. That is why when he was diagnosed with brain cancer, one of his first choices was to contact Williams Funeral Home for his final preparations. The Blevins', along with their professional staff, compassionately guided us through a process that could have been riddled withfear, mistrust and indecision. Our choices were clearly presented and their advice was sincere. From choosing a satisfactory casket to preparing the site for burial, the Williams Funeral Home family was just that...a caring family. I will always be grateful to everyone at Williams for making my husband's last few months less decision driven for him."”Kay Curtis September 14, 2011
“"When my husband, Billy Joe Wren, passed away suddenly, I knew that I could trust employees of Williams Funeral Home to handle all of his arrangements in a very professional manner. Since Billy Joe had worked for Williams Funeral Home for a number of years, they have always been like an extended part of our family. Everything was done in a very dignified way and I could not have asked for anything to have been done better. " ”Betty Wren February 18, 2009
“"Williams Funeral Home was there for us. The staff treated our family as if we were part of their family. The staff went above and beyond our expectations to honor our son, CW2 Clayton Marshall Hickman, as a true American hero. From the receiving of his remains at Nashville Airport, through the final service, the respect, dignity and professionalism shown for our late son and us helped to make this tragedy easier to handle. We are truly blessed to have the Williams Funeral Home family and staff as a part of our family." ”The Hickman Family July 15, 2010
